Tortured Peace

Silence shrieks within my mind,

sorrow snickers with glee.

I navigate by a starless night,

the signs I see aren’t right.

To change yesterday I must learn from tomorrow.

  1. A very poignant one, Lavender… powerful!!
    Each line was like a paradox in itself.. beautifully and very sensibly constructed!!
    And that last line really made me go into a spiral of thoughts…

  2. So true, and the last line is my favorite, got me to think a lot! Maybe with the hope for tomorrow, yesterday could really be different!
